Our April Speaker is Mary J. Johnson, CEBS, Vice President
Mary provides benefit consulting for employer groups in a variety of industries and sizes including work with a number of Associations, a PEO and two of three existing MEWAs in the state of Iowa. Her work experience includes over 28 years of working in the insurance industry for group benefits, specializing in self-funded employers. She was named as Vice President, Employee Benefits in 2014 with AssuredPartners (formerly LMC Insurance).
She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a minor in Business from the University of Iowa. She holds the prestigious Certified Employee Benefits Specialist designation and continuously stays up on industry innovation. She is married with 3 children living in Rhodes, IA. Prior to joining AssuredPartners in 2005, Mary worked for Wellmark Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Iowa for 9 years.
