    Fred’s work experience includes 18 years of working in the healthcare industry for both group benefits and property & casualty coverage. He has been a featured speaker on risk management and health insurance issues at industry and trade group association meetings throughout the United States. Fred was one of six nationally selected Power Brokers for employee health benefits by Risk and Insurance Magazine, 2008. A graduate of the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, he completed his Master of Science degree in Toxicology / Industrial Technology at Iowa State University. He has earned his Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Associate in Loss Control Management (ALCM) designations from the Insurance Institute of America, and is a Certified Healthcare Safety Professional. As an Adjunct Professor of Undergraduate Studies at Iowa State University, Fred has taught classes on workers compensation and loss control. He brings to his clients a deep knowledge and understanding of Third Party Administrators, the claims process, Stop Loss coverage, and self-funding of health insurance and workers compensation programs.
